The adventure trail along the World Cup slope The legendary AUDI FIS Ski World Cup course is a special attraction in summer as well and can be discovered also by foot. Each year some 40,000 enthusiastic spectators follow the races live on site. The interactive posts on the varied mountain trails between “Boden” and “Chuenisbärgli” present a lot of background knowledge about ski-racing, preparation and history. One can even practice their racing skills. Mastering the steep “Kanonenrohr” on the shaking board can be a good test for your “ski” legs and watching as Daron Rahlves’ bombs out requires a strong stomach to travel the same path.

How to reach the World Cup trail

From start to finish: Starting from Adelboden using the „Sillerenbahn“or the bus to „Bergläger“, from there you walk approx. 45 minutes to „Chuenisbärgli“.

–
Reverse route: starting from “Boden”, accessible by bus or approx. 1hr 40mins by foot to “Chuenisbärgli” (chair lift Chuenisbärgli is only open in the winter).

An extended walking route starting from “Hahnenmoospass” accessible by bus to Geils and gondola to “Hahnenmoospass”, via “Bütschital” to “Chuenisbärgli” (approx. 1h 45min)

Extended walking route starting from “Sillerenbühl”: accessible with the “Sillerenbahn”, via “Hahnenmoospass”, “Bütschital”, “Troneggrat” to “Chuenisbärgli”. It takes approx. 2h 45min to reach the World Cup trail.

The Audi FIS Ski World Cup Adelboden is an important venue in the World Cup circuit. On Saturdays Giant Slalom Marcel Hirscher, Carlo Janka, Ivica Kostelic, Felix Neureuther amongst other ski stars will be fighting for victory, and on Sundays Slalom Aksel Lund Svindal, Marc Gin and Ted Ligety will delight all spectators along the famous Chuenisbärgli race track.
